No. 6 Hegemony
A pulped natural Brazil from Parana and Sao Paulo, grown between 750 and 1,050 m on volcanic loam. Catuai and Mundo Novo. Roasted medium. Smooth, with cocoa.
In the cup
Cocoa and a smooth, heavy body with low acidity. Pulped natural Brazils sit at the gentle end of coffee, which makes this one very hard to get wrong, whatever you brew it in.
Who it is for
The pot everyone in the house drinks without complaining.
How to brew it
Drip, or cold brew at 1:8 overnight. Low acidity and heavy body, which makes it very hard to ruin.
This bag is ground to a medium drip grind, which suits drip machines and most pour-overs. For espresso, moka pot or French press, choose Whole bean above and grind it yourself: one grind cannot serve every method.
Filter coffee is at its best roughly 5 to 21 days after roasting, espresso about 10 to 30 days. Keep the bag closed, at room temperature, away from light.
