No. 2 Good Sense
A natural Ethiopia from the Sidama zone, grown between 1,700 and 1,900 m by smallholder farmers, dried on raised beds and sorted by hand. Heirloom cultivars. Roasted medium-light. Milk chocolate, fruit and caramel.
In the cup
Milk chocolate, ripe fruit and caramel. Natural process means the coffee cherry was dried around the bean, and that is where the fruit comes from. It is roasted medium-light so the fruit stays in the cup.
Who it is for
The slow first cup, when you actually want to taste something.
How to brew it
Pour-over, 60 g per litre, 94 °C, a 40-second bloom. Drink it black: a natural Ethiopia goes to fruit and milk buries it.
This bag is ground to a medium drip grind, which suits drip machines and most pour-overs. For espresso, moka pot or French press, choose Whole bean above and grind it yourself: one grind cannot serve every method.
Filter coffee is at its best roughly 5 to 21 days after roasting, espresso about 10 to 30 days. Keep the bag closed, at room temperature, away from light.
